Antwerp is pre-eminently a beautiful city to capture on a photo. The center contains many streets and alleys with beautiful, old buildings that are increasingly being restored and brought back to their original state.
I always like to shoot in black and white in such a city. This gives a better atmosphere and also a more dramatized feeling, which I personally appreciate more about a city photo. You are less 'disturbed' by color and it gets a more nostalgic 'look'. If you also have the light with you, depth can be captured beautifully in the streets.
On the road with a colleague photographer and that is always more fun and instructive than alone. Personally, I occasionally use a fog filter to soften highlights. And of course the photo will get some things in post-processing ;)
